Military-Affiliated Student Graduation Celebration
The Military-Affiliated Student Graduation Celebration is an opportunity to congratulate and recognize our military-affiliated students for their successful studies at Iowa State University. All graduates will receive a stole or a cord that they can wear at commencement, depending on their military status as active duty, veteran, or military-connected dependent. Ceremonies are held twice per year, in the fall and in the spring. We encourage graduates to invite friends and family to a dinner and presentation in their honor. The Fall 2025 celebration took place on December 4th in the Cardinal Room of the Memorial Union Building. We look forward to hosting this event and celebrating our military-affiliated students again next year!
