Academic Coaching Testimonials
Below are stories that Iowa State students were asked to share about their academic coaching experiences.
"The Academic Coaches at the Veteran Center are patient, kind, and really care. Each meeting I came out feeling more prepared for what was ahead, and I made a lot of ground on life skills like calendaring and to-do lists. Overall I have become a more organized and efficient person thanks to the wonderful peeps here."
"I am a better student because of Chelsea. I also think that there should be a way so that students don't think or be ashamed for getting help."
"I will always be so grateful with Chelsea because she believed in me more than anyone else during these past semesters and she provided me a lot of resources that helped me with a tough semester during 2021. When I thought I was not made for engineering, she changed that thought and transmitted confidence in me. Now I am a more confident person and very secure of who I am and what I can do! Thank you so much Chelsea, you literally changed my life."
