Start with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Students must complete a FAFSA form each year to qualify for financial aid, including military educational benefits and scholarships. Complete the application even if you missed the deadline.

Reminders

  • As a military-affiliated student, you have the opportunity to apply for numerous scholarships external to the University, offered by various organizations and nonprofits.
  • If you use military benefits (i.e., GI Bill, NGEAP, Fed TA, etc.), keep your SCO updated with any course schedule/student status changes.
    • For example, if you drop below 12 credit hours, your benefits could be reduced
    • You may also have to verify that you are enrolled as a full-time student every month
